denied rights to U.S citizens
In America, men and women with a past conviction are denied the right to vote in 32 different states. Not only does this damage a democracy built on the right to vote but denying people the right to vote including people with past convictions is still damaging the democracy as well as what this country represents. there have been efforts across the country to try and restore ex-felons right to vote this will also add structure to the voting system because there will be much more participation in votes because there are approximately 5.1 million ex-felons who weren't allowed to have a voice in who they wanted to represent them in this past election.
